This was an old hack to help with multitouch bugs but seems to make them
worse now. Disabling it helps a little with Google Maps 2-finger
rotation, but not much since the touchscreen hardware on the N1 is crap.

heroc/Gallery3D: Remove DIRTY UGLY HACK from Gallery3D Overlay
...
The reload on orientation change DIRTY UGLY HACK is unnecessary
when using libGLES_qcom.so from the latest Dream/Sapphire
proprietaries.
This gives a dramatic speed increase when changing the phone
orientation while in Gallery3D.

The automatic changelog display is kind of scary looking when it pops
up after a clean flash. This is appropriate for ADW's market version
but probably not for a custom ROM. Disable it via overlay, it
is still available via the options menu.

I'm not sure why AOSP isn't doing this already. PinyinIME and OpenWnn
are both missing directives to tell it when it should be the default, so
it thinks it's always the default, overriding LatinIME for English
locales.
